Follow these steps before you call your ISP (Internet Service Provider) if your adsl broadband internet has stopped working:
- Firstly shutdown your computer or the computer the modem is connected to.
- Power off your broadband modem.
- Wait 30 seconds and turn the modem back on.
- Wait 30 seconds to 3 minutes, make sure the modem lights up.
- Check your adsl or Wan link light is steady.
- For a wireless device the WLAN Light should be on
- Startup computer and then try to connect to the internet.
Failing that ring your internet provider or us to run you through further tests.
